Osteria Il Pescatore in Linz

Locally open until 10.30pm according to the homepage. Waiter lets us take a seat at 2.30pm, gives us the menu and drinks. After 2 minutes we learn that the boss has decided to close the kitchen. Very strange place ...

Disappointing ... had ordered the rigatoni with cheese and pepper - unfortunately, these were only a few grated cheese chips on salted pasta, pepper was draped on 3 places carelessly. The "tomato salad" consisted exactly of 3 roughly cut tomatoes, that's it! Vinegar, oil, salt and pepper are at the table. But otherwise, there was not a single ingredient in the "salad". Not even onions or anything else. To describe 3 tomatoes as tomato salad is already a bit far-fetched. For 4.50 € were required. Unfortunately not completely understandable.

Unfortunately, my rating has to be revised downwards. Pizzas are very good if you get them. One should not make the mistake and second enter the restaurant and consist of a huge group of three men. Because then of course the 15 others who came after will get their food in front of you (explanation from the waiter: they will get food from the kitchen and no pizza - ask me where it will be made). Of course, the two ladies who come 15 minutes after you get their pizzas in front of you (the explanation here is absolutely logical: two pizzas are ready faster than three). Conclusion: waited over an hour for food and many people see coming and going. Thank you but not so soon ...

Tortellini Panna Prosciutto 3x ordered. At 11 € I expect a perfect dish. I have no idea how to call water with a taste a sauce, but hey: Jesus also turned water into wine. If only it had been wine. Except for the taste of the pasta (which was at least aldente - tortellini were unfortunately out), there was a hint of rather tasteless, roughly sliced ​​ham. No, I don't smoke, which is why my taste buds would have died. We will give the restaurant another chance with a pizza order. This gives the possibility to correct to 3 stars.

Really the food was bad

I can not remember the last time I ate such a good lasagna and tiramisu. Also the pizzas and noodles from our friends were fantastic. Nice and funny service. And Birra Moretti on tap ;-)Really a secret!

1.5 hours for a Pizza, humid and without ventilation, pizza was sloppy and not good.

Small but very nice restaurant. The kitchen is great with very good Italian food. The pizza was really great and very good in taste. The service was also very friendly and fast. From the decor a bit more Italian flair would be great.

Apart from the fact that some of the dishes on the menu are often not available, I have only had good experiences in this restaurant, which is run by an Italian family. The boss sometimes seems a bit unmotivated, but all requests were met. The pizzas taste good and have the right consistency, and the desserts are also excellent.

Pizza dough is really good in Italy. Drinks are poorly poured and rather tasteless. We had 2 truffle dishes! Euro 15.- for pizza and pasta! No truffle taste🙈

We sat next to the door that doesn't close. It was drafty and cold. The ambience is rather uncomfortable.The rice in the seafood risotto was still too hard, so it didn't taste good.An ordered pizza was forgotten. The other was good in taste but not crispy. I was there because of the many good reviews, but left again disappointed.

The last few years it was the best pizzeria in all of linz, but in recent months, the quality has fallen below the table and the service does not give a damn about the customers.Definitely not recommended!

Magnificent food and service.

From my point of view, a meeting there is highly recommended. Not only the nice staff was the absolute hit when we visited, but also the unique climate. I think my husband and I have already ordered the entire menu up and down. The meal was brought in very quickly. We find the restaurant to be irrelevant for all occasions, whether with a man, friends or clan; ).

As a site manager, I was allowed to feed our boys (about 10 men) there on behalf of the company.Although the place was otherwise empty, they put us on an unnecessarily small table.Food took a long time and then two dishes arrived wrong.The criticism of our guys then did not want to hear them and were actually offended.

They have pizza and other dishes at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, however, not only did it not fit so well with the friendliness of the staff, it also didn't fit with the quality of the pizza served. The floor was black - almost charred - and the top of the pizza was dripping with fat. Too bad.

Fresh Fish, great service, authentic italian food

Small & cosy Italian restaurant with excellent food. Very friendly and funny waiters who are talking Italian all the time. Many additionals are included like a small aperitif, two bowls with garlic and chili and a Schnaps before leaving. I ordered a pizza which tasted delicious. I never ate that good authentic Italian pizza before. This will be my new #1 place for Italian food in Linz. Just amazing!!

Very well. We were unfortunately late and therefore have no more salad. It will fit better next time. Very nice real Italian restaurant.

Not having to do without delicious Italian pizzas in times of Corona is a luxury! And exactly this luxury can be expected here! We have had pizzas delivered to us once a week via "Lieferando" since the shutdown! They were always perfect - no spark of quality fluctuation! We are guaranteed to visit this restaurant more often from the time the restaurant opens! Locations of this kind are absolutely worth promoting!

Great pizzeria, ....

The Italian food was delicious. We could reserve for our group also short term (23 people) and in an extra room only for us to dine. Prices also good, staff very friendly, the conclusion with a round of liqueur on the house very sympathetic 😁

Great restaurant! There were five of us and everyone was thrilled. Pizzas are very good, but I always come because of the great fish dishes. Ambiance and service are also praiseworthy to mention. Have never waited long to eat. Price performance ratio in my opinion very good. I always like to come here.

Would call this REAL Italians a secret tip.Do not be put off - just have a look and enjoy authentic Italian cuisine.On top there's also very friendly staff there!A star deduction, especially since one would rather not go in as a "business customer" when passing by. But it's more about the "inner values" :-)
